"Likable?" Trowa mouths to Duo from behind Quatre's back.
Maybe it's a tease; a rare glimpse at a subtle sense of humor. Duo seems likable enough, by social standards or what not, but if he's looking for validation, he's asking the wrong vampire. Trowa flourishes his tease with a raise of his eyebrow, short-lived as it is, for by the time Quatre turns back to him with his question, it's already gone, and he's looking back down at his apple.
Hm. He hadn't planned on going back out that night. Usually when he comes over to the farmhouse, he tends to stay for the evening (and sometimes the morning too). He's learned the invitation is always there, especially when Quatre starts talking like that. Duo, though, adds a complication, and one that Trowa's not quite sure yet how to solve. In a lot of ways he seems quite different than Quatre's regular customer, and Trowa's not quite sure what to make of that just yet.
"I don't know," he finally says, shrugs and looks to the clock on the wall. "Maybe I'll head back out."
